This JournalSKIN is an edited version of 'Crest' by ^Ikue, Thanks!

Coming soon from...

I keep a blog with stuff you won't see on DevArt.

  • Felicity, The Next Steps

  • The Journal title is courtesy of a friend who brilliantly summed up 'Felicity' when asked what it was about.

Thanks to everyone who voted on the poll. Considering the (lack of) usefulness of the Felicity Website, I've been thinking of releasing Issue 3 somewhat differently. Although how I'd do that was something I couldn't make my mind up on, I needed reader input to make my decision for me really. It seems the majority of voters like things the way they are.

If anyone has any suggestions or ideas for a reason to come to the website more regularly then please post away. I'd love the make 99reasonstowin.com a website worth visiting between the Issue Launches.

Regarding Felicity and Issue 3 then-

At various points since the beginning I've felt the need to really re-assess and really focus and improve the project as a whole and in a lot of respects rebuild it. These points are major, not small momentary changes or subtle tweaks but huge monumental stages of development. Usually resulting in large steps towards a new direction and I've felt, since completing Issue 2, that the time for that step has come again.

Think of it, I guess, as my time to Evolve and become a better stronger poke- I mean artist.

It doesn't change my plans but it does mean I have to approach this Issue a little differently. I have several ideas of what I want to explore and improve and I feel it's important to let that process happen before I really dive into Issue 3, I have goals for Issue 3 now that far exceed the other two combined.

It shouldn't affect the schedule, it's not going to mean I don't make a start on the Issue later than I intended. I just really want to try some things out and really tighten some aspects up. The biggest skill that the first two have taught me is speed in my process. I feel particularly that I can now easily afford to step up my process to be a far grander, far more impressive visual quality, without a sacrifice in speed and time-taken.

I've been struggling a little with writing Issue 3, which is a bit tricky as Issue 2 gave me no problems whatsoever. Issue 3, I see more closely resembling Issue 1 in that the structure is something that I will have to play very carefully to get right. I have all my pieces and my overall arc- just finding the right way to piece them together is going to be a challenge. Never the less- I'm looking forward to it.

Whenever you compose a story or comic book, there's certain moments in that story that you cannot wait to explore- Issue 3 for me represents one of those moments so I'm really excited that I'm (already) about to approach that, having made no shortcuts along the way.

    Also,

I don't know why I'm writing all Lord Of The Ringsy at times in this journal. That shit'got stop son.

    Thanks for reading!

''A young but strangely tall boy must rescue his beloved; Princess Hayley Williams(of Paramore!) from the evil clutches of Workandorf!. A powerful tyrant who has imprisoned the world in a shroud of tedium and disrespect, crushing all that remains of the Artforce- Home of all creativity. With the guidance of his sort of angel-cat-navi-like-thing and tools of great awesomeness- can our hero succeed?''

Just want to clear this up- There is no team of artists behind 'Crimson Feather Studios'. All of the artwork found on this page is by one person, Adam Law(TWULF). Crimson Feather Studios is simply a name associated with his work in which his various projects fall under.

Thanks for the watch. Man, you have an awesome gallery here. I'm truly impressed. :worship:
Oh hey, thanks very much. Very welcome on the watch- love your 3d work, particularly that it's for NWN2! Is modding NWN2 any easier now? as in custom model injection?

99 Reasons To Win [DOT] Com! <My Online Webcomic!
It's only easier in the sense that more information on how to make custom models for NWN2 is available now than ever before. New animations can only be done in 3DS Max 6, 7, or 8, however, because those are the only versions that the proprietary model exporter works with, but non-animated models can be done with other software, I believe.

    I'm watching you. :+devwatch:
Awesome thanks, look forward to seeing more! And thanks, hoping to start up my own module in NWN2 and roping in help with 3d- glad to know that getting models in the game is better explained now than it was when the game launched(Impossible back then if I recall).
